These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Upduu app. Please read them carefully before using the app. By downloading, installing, or using Upduu, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Upduu
Upduu is a break reminder app designed for people who sit in front of a computer for long periods. The app helps remind users to stand up, stretch, move their body, or rest their eyes during the day. Upduu may also include an Animated Desktop Companion displayed on the screen.
2. Use of the App
You agree to use Upduu only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not damage, disable, interfere with, or misuse the app, related systems, or platform services.
3. Pro Features and In-App Purchases
Upduu may offer Pro features, additional Animated Desktop Companions, or other digital content for purchase. Prices, purchase terms, and payment processing will be shown in the app and handled through Apple App Store.
Refund requests or payment-related issues are subject to Apple’s policies and processes.
4. Animated Desktop Companion
The Animated Desktop Companion is a visual and interactive feature designed to improve the user experience and make break reminders more enjoyable.
Some Companions may be available for free, while others may be offered as paid digital content in the future.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or use Upduu’s characters, animations, icons, graphics, or related creative assets for any purpose without permission.
5. Health Disclaimer
Upduu is a reminder tool only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Results may vary from person to person. If you experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, chronic symptoms, or have physical limitations, you should stop using the app and consult a qualified healthcare professional.
6. Availability of the App
We try to keep Upduu working properly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
7. Intellectual Property
The Upduu name, logo, Animated Desktop Companion, characters, graphics, illustrations, text, software, and other app elements are owned by the developer or relevant rights holders.
You are not granted ownership rights to these materials. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.
8. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to parts of the app if we believe that a user has violated these Terms or caused harm to the app, developer, or other users.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are made, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means that you accept the updated Terms.
